Coming from someone born and raised in Scottsdale, I would say there is no where in Scottsdale that is unsafe. North Scottsdale is the safest area. South is less so but it is still safe compared to many areas in Phoenix. Scottsdale is a suburb of Phoenix and is insanely safe.
