To remove all friction from just getting folks to try the product, Figma remained free for the first two years post-launch. Community was helpful with some of those marketing tactics too. So they got those early proof points in different ways. But over three years, as the product continued to mature, it became clear that these efforts were working and they edged towards a tipping point where people began to use the tool full-time [8]. Empowering Evangelists Finally, it came time for Figma to introduce self-serve pricing.
