Nov 8, 2023 41 Comments Following first leaks a few weeks ago, official images of the last and biggest Marvel set of the year are finally here! As far as we can tell, the tower itself has 6 floors, bringing the set up to a rumored height of 90cm. The building stands on the same baseplate as the large Daily Bugle set and can therefore be combined with other LEGO modular buildings.
I am surprised that we still have not seen all the suits from Iron Man 3 in collectible form. The House Party Protocol was an incredible scene, and I would love to see more of them come to life it would be a fun and easy way for LEGO to do that with this Armory being a great way to show them off.

In addition to the tower itself, the 5201 pieces making up the set also include a Quinjet and a Leviathan. Last but not least, one of the sets highlights are the total 31 Minifigures included.
As well as the classic MK3, MK25 and MK85 Iron Man suits there is a workshop area with tools where kids can carry out repairs and a platform where the billionaire Super Hero can change into his chosen armor.

It had a dark blue color scheme with highlights of dark red and silver, along with a black shoulder-mounted cannon and a yellow platform. It had more black in its color scheme just like the Mark I War Machine with a silver face plate, along with piercing red eyes.
The torso and leg printing was pretty good, and once again translucent red repulsor pieces were used. It had new arm, torso, and leg prints, though I believe the face plate was reused from the 2016 one. It had a shoulder-mounted gun that was not a stud shooter, and only came with translucent red repulsor pieces for the hands. The head piece was a new double-sided head that had a smiling expression on one side and a HUD on the other side. In the movie, War Machine dons one of the white Avengers Quantum Realm suits alongside the surviving Avengers, in an effort to reverse the destruction and damage caused by Thanos. It has a new print for the faceplate, with the silver print ending higher up. Underneath the helmet, War Machine has the same double-sided head as the Bricktober Pack variant. War Machine is armed with a pair of silver stud shooters, one of which is mounted on his back. This is basically a Hulkbuster but recolored and redesigned to fit War Machine. The build has a dark grey color scheme which matches the design of older War Machine suits.
The build also has poseable hips, ankles, shoulders, elbows, fingers, and shoulder-pads. Oddly enough, this build did not appear in the movie at all. These new designs are something of a cross between the previous two versions, sporting a more sleek look that still allows the front faceplate to fold up. I adore the figure selection first and foremost, and can tolerate the price tag. I would have loved for the LEGO Group to stick with the same stall designs as last time around to keep everything uniform, though I do honestly like the refreshed builds better this time around.

Оно выше всяких похвал, никаких признаков того, что может где-то слезть. Текстура поверхности "золотых" деталей не везде одинакова, но для меня это не критично - главное, оттенок один, тут производителю браво! Собирал три вечера после работы. Первый день вообще до двух ночи сидел - так увлекся. Еще бы, ЛЕГО, наверное, с 13 лет не держал в руках.
Пытался поначалу снимать на видео процесс сборки, потом понял, что это неблагодарное дело и памяти на телефоне все равно не хватит. Таймлапс на первые 4 пакетика деталей есть, но не передает масштаба. Брательник пошутил, мол, похоже на робота-цыпленка из второй части "Робокопа": - вот туловище с навеской: Голову можно и отдельно на полку. Выглядит реально круто. Я знал его, Горацио..
Ну и финальный результат: По своей глупости при покупке не углядел, что набор со светодиодами в глаза и в реактор и моторчиком для поворота головы нужно купить отдельно.
В чем разница между новым и старыми наборами? В том, что создаваемые модели и предметы получатся более детализированными, благодаря чему они реалистично отразят знакомые по фильму предметы: руку робота-помощника, рабочую зона с набором инструментов, множество аутентичных аксессуаров. Плюс к этому, в комплектацию комплекта включен спортивный автомобиль — небольшая копия кабриолета Audi R8 с моделью-картой «от Старк Экспо» в салоне.
